Who can read my messages?
Only you and the friend you are chatting with. Text and photos are locked on your phone before they are sent, so our servers only hold scrambled data that they cannot read.
Are voice and video calls encrypted the same way?
No. Calls use a separate call service and are not covered by the chat key. The encryption described here applies to messages and photos.
What if I forget my chat PIN?
Nobody can recover it for you. You can set a new PIN, which gives you a new key. Old messages cannot be opened on that phone unless you restore them from your Google Drive backup. New messages work normally.
What information can the service see?
To deliver messages, the service can see who writes to whom and when, plus your profile name and photo. It cannot see what you write. The privacy policy has the full list.
How do I delete my account?
Open Settings, then Account, then Delete account, and confirm with your password. You can also email us at info@sporenges.cyou. See what is deleted.
How do I block someone?
Open the chat, tap the name at the top to open Chat info, then choose Block. They are not told, and they cannot send you messages, calls or friend requests. You can unblock them in Settings.
