This page explains how to delete your Sporenges account and the data linked to it. It is the same process described in our privacy policy.
Delete in the app
- Open Sporenges and go to Settings.
- Open Account, then tap Delete account.
- Type your account password and confirm.
The account is deleted right away and you are signed out.
Cannot use the app?
Email info@sporenges.cyou from the email address of your account, with the subject Delete my Sporenges account. We may ask you to confirm it is you. We delete the account within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your profile and its private information (email, date of birth, gender, notification token).
- Your friends list, friend requests and blocked list.
- Your recent chats list and unread counts.
- Your profile photos.
- Your PIN records and any pending verification or recovery codes.
- Your sign-in itself.
What is kept
- Encrypted copies of messages you already sent may remain in your friends’ chats. They are encrypted and we cannot read them.
- Technical logs held by our cloud providers, for the period set by those providers.
- Information we must keep to follow the law.
Your Drive backup
A backup made with Sporenges is stored in your own Google Drive, not on our servers, so deleting your account does not remove it. To delete it, open Google Drive settings, choose Manage apps, find Sporenges and select Delete hidden app data. You can also remove Sporenges’ access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Want to delete only some data, such as messages in one chat? Use Clear chat or Delete for everyone in the app, or email us.
